Aloe Vera - An Effective Treatment For Acne?

Aloe Vera for Acne Treatment

Aloe vera is an active ingredient in a number of different products and helps to treat a wide variety of different problems and conditions. It is used primarily to improve the appearance of the skin and treat a variety of digestive problems, but can aloe vera effectively treat acne?

It can also be used to treat Acne, first you have to wash you face, then slice the lower part of the leaf to open, use the gel and apply to the Acne area; this will help with the healing process, especially recommended for those that like to use homemade remedy for acne  treatments.

Acne can be reduced by either soaps including aloe Vera extract or aloe Vera gel. An individual who has acne should use soaps minimum two times a day and the skin must be patted dry after washing the affected area. An application of cream containing aloe Vera or aloe Vera gel can decrease the infection or inflammation from the affected areas. Acne is not completed treated by aloe Vera but the possible symptoms such as flaky skin, redness or swelling will be quickly removed by regularly using it.

You can also treat acne by either using soaps with aloe vera based properties or aloe vera gel or cream. You should wash your face with these soaps at least twice a day in the morning and before you go to bed at night. After washing your face you should not rub but pat it dry with a wash cloth which should only be used for your face, do not use a towel that you use to bathe with as this is not considered a sanitary exercise. After washing your face you should use a topical aloe vera gel or cream product which you can apply to any inflamed or infected areas of the skin.
